The Parenting Project provides accessible and high-quality parenting support. The project works with parents and children aged 0-19 who are facing a wide range of difficulties and challenges in their lives, including domestic abuse, isolation, mental health worries, loneliness, low confidence, and the challenges of low income.
Without support, these difficulties can often escalate and sometimes spiral out of control. Children often bear the impact of family difficulties, which is why we provide programmes and services based on the family’s needs as a whole. Our services include counselling, one-to-one family support, parenting programmes and activities for 0-5 year olds. We work closely with a wide range of organisations and agencies, including mental health agencies, health visitors, midwives, speech and language therapists, local children’s services, CAB, other charities, social housing providers and employment support organisations.
“We couldn’t be more proud to support Parenting Project as they provide vital courses to safeguard and promote the welfare of young children.”
