James’ Place is a non-clinical centre for men experiencing suicidal crisis in Liverpool. The centre, which was opened by the Duke of Cambridge, is the first of its kind in the UK, and aims to address high male suicide rates.
People referred to James’ Place are offered a tailored service of face-to-face free therapeutic support during their time of need. We aim to open further centres across the country, aiming primarily at university cities. Talking is a strength. Not a weakness.
“Christmas can be an especially challenging time for those facing mental health difficulties, which is why we’re very proud to be supporting James’ Place as they continue to support men facing suicidal crisis.”
